Overview

Many Spanish verbs show some kind of irregularity. Fortunately most irregularities follow certain patterns which are shared among many verbs. Some irregularities are easy to learn because the irregular spelling can be derived from the usual pronunciation rules. Others are harder to memorize but the irregular spelling still follows some pattern. In this chapter we illustrate the most common irregular verbs with examples.
